President's Day
I am excited about President's Day coming up. I actually took the day off. You must think I'm very patriotic. I would love to say that is true, but actually I took the day off because a lot thrift stores take 50% off all items that day. I have the day planned in my head already. I'm will finish the list of items I am looking for and go in for the kill on Monday. My friend once told me I am the only person she knows that not only do I shop at thrift stores but I also have to wait for a sale to do it. I grew up going to thrift stores and garage sales. I never really appreciated it until I was older. Now I love it - I love finding unique items for my home for usually less than $5. I hope to find great things on Monday and post my findings!

I guess I don't go to enough thrift stores to know when they have sales. There is a huge thrift store that's opening up near me. Yee haw! I'm crossing my fingers that I'll score some fun stuff. Good luck with the sale. You'll have to post what you found.
