President's Day Thrift Store finds

Ok - I didn't get the cool things for my house that I was hoping for or the camoflauge pants for my son, but I did find a lot of clothes for myself and my sons.  Here is what I bought yesterday:
2 pairs of dress pants for work
2 pairs of sweat pants
1 pair of jeans
1 pair of capris
1 pair of jeans for my son
2 pairs of uniform pants for my son
1 pair of sleep pants
2 sweatshirts
1 sweater
2 casual shirts
1 pair of red shoes (I love them!)
1 ceramic bunny

for the grand total of $33.73

I like good quality clothing and that is what I bought.  Some of the brands were:  Talbots, LL Bean, Urban Up, Nordstroms, and Dockers.  You can't beat a good thrift store find.  

President's Day

I am excited about President's Day coming up.  I actually took the day off.  You must think I'm very patriotic.  I would love to say that is true, but actually I took the day off because a lot thrift stores take 50% off all items that day.  I have the day planned in my head already.  I'm will finish the list of items I am looking for and go in for the kill on Monday.  My friend once told me I am the only person she knows that not only do I shop at thrift stores but I also have to wait for a sale to do it. I grew up going to thrift stores and garage sales.  I never really appreciated it until I was older.  Now I love it - I love finding unique items for my home for usually less than $5.  I hope to find great things on Monday and post my findings!
